San Francisco

I haven't been around since Moms & Muffins, but I've got lots to report on. That afternoon I got to go do a quick photo shoot with Eli. He just turned two, so new pictures were necessary. What a chore it was picking up that big rock, but he sure was proud of himself.

Shortly after the photo shoot Eli came to my house to visit. I took his parents to the airport the next morning, and then we got to hang out with Eli for four days. I used to think it was hard having two girls around that like to smother him -- until Monday when they went to school and I realized how much easier it was to watch him with their help. They are really good with him. Sophie seems to have a natural mothering instinct, but when I watch Chloe with little kids you can see how much she enjoys it. She can't wait until she's old enough to babysit on her own.

After four days I had to pass Eli off to his grandpa so I could head to San Francisco. Brandon flew out Monday morning, then I left Tuesday after school and drove the girls. We joined him for the last day of his conference. We really didn't spend that much time in San Francisco because there were so many other things we wanted to see -- like a mining town and the giant redwoods. I could sit and talk about the trip, but I think you can get more out of looking at the pictures.
