I need to get back in the game here! Sometimes I don't write because I have nothing to write about, sometimes it's because I have no time to. This time it would be the latter. We have been so busy -- not in the uncomfortable way that I preach against, just lots of fun stuff. Like...
- a mermaid birthday party for Makiah.
- A mother/daughter tea party.
- Hanging out with Dallas, Evan, Makiah, & Daphne for an evening.
- A super fast trip to Afton to work on my parents computer that we broke.
- Speaking in Sacrament -- oh wait, did I say fun stuff. Maybe it wasn't all fun!
- Working on our yard in Centerville, again not so fun for us, but for the girls who cherish any trip to Centerville.
- Picking up our exchange student, Mamiko.
- Going out for smoothies.
- Opening gifts from Mamiko.
- Going to Cabelas to look at the animals.
- Playing lots of UNO (and other card games).
- Making play dough.
- Making chalk paint.
- Driving the Sunset Loop (is that what it's called?) over the mountain from Draper to Lehi.
- Science experiments!
- Went to Park City -- rode the Alpine Slide! And did some shopping.
- Hiked to Donut Falls, actually made it to the donut this time!
- Learned I have muscles that don't get used traipsing around Traverse Mountain :)
- Quickly hiked around Silver Lake
- Brandon took Mamiko miniature golfing while I took the girls to "Wicked"
- And today we are resting: going to the park, playing with friends, getting ready for our next trip... stay tuned!
