Then the exciting part was when I delivered the pictures, the grooms sister was there and she asked me to take her wedding pictures in September. I told her she had to look at these first to see if she liked my work before committing to anything. The mother is the one who hired me, and she called me later to tell me how much she loved them and reaffirmed that her daughter asked for me to do her wedding. Then she told me she was getting married in Manti. I'm not sure I want to travel that far, but we discussed the possibility of just taking some pictures close to home. I'm not opposed to traveling, but I'll definately have to increase my compensation for it, in which case I'm looking for anyone who wants to get married in Hawaii -- I'll be happy to come take your pictures!

Photo Shoot
Tuesday I got to go do a photo shoot for a couple being sealed in the temple. When I was first asked to do it, I was asked how I'd feel about doing a wedding. That was a little intimidating (you know how people can be about their wedding photos), but once she clarified they had already been married and were just getting sealed then the pressure was off and I was a lot more excited. It was a really hot afternoon, but I just hung out in the shade and it wasn't too bad. The bride is 7 months pregnant; her husband forgot his suit coat so she didn't want to wear her dress,so the pictures were very casual. There was a sister-in-law who had just had a baby a couple weeks ago, so she was in a hurry to get back to the baby, and they were all going out to eat. Not to mention the ceremony ran a lot longer than they expected. This is all leading up to the point that they were in a hurry, so we only did one pose, plus the group shot of all the family. So, I just did some different editing to give them more of a variety. I only got 8 shots total, but here are a couple of them.
