Someone had a birthday around here. Chloe turned 9 on Monday! She was a turd the whole day -- not the sweet girl we had been seeing the last few months. But we still love her. She knew exactly what she wanted, and wasn't afraid to TELL us how it was going to be. She was just a little excited. She even decorated the house herself. We finally had to give in and let her open one present on Sunday. Sophie volunteered to let her open hers. I was mean and made her wait until AFTER Brandon got home from work to open the rest on Monday. Then we headed out to Noodles & Co. for dinner -- her choice, but a very good choice, I might add. She didn't want a cake or anything. All she had asked for was bananas, oranges and cauliflower (yes, this is MY child). But then during dinner she did ask if we could go to DQ afterward, so we did that.
While we were killing time waiting for Brandon to get home from work we went out to get some pictures. We're all so happy that we finally have some tulips blooming, and this is the spot she picked.

She looks so grown up!! Sounds like an interesting day...or sould I say weekend. Happy 9th b-day Chloe! You look as beautiful as those tulips.
Glad to hear she had a good birthday! Noodles & Co. was indeed a good choice - it's one of our faves! And what a great choice of "dessert!" Maybe she can rub some of that off onto my kids!!
